INCREASED BLOOD PRESSURE WHEN NOT DRINKING COFFEE

"The results suggest that the habit of eating three cups of coffee a day are not associated with an increased risk of hypertension, compared to consume one cup per day," wrote Liwei Chen of Louisiana State University School of Public Health in New Orleans, who also participated in the study .

A study in the United States (U.S.) said that drinking coffee in large quantities does not seem to increase risk of blood pressure.


Previously, many scientists say that high blood pressure or hypertension, is associated with heart disease and stroke, is caused by coffee. Similarly, as quoted by Reuters on Friday (22/04/2011).

But according to a recent report in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, which collects data from six previous studies involving 170 thousand people, showed that coffee is not a trigger.
